Custom Dashboard Headline

    Hi,

    I am an administrator of several WordPress websites. I am seeing on some of the sites that using the Custom Dashboard Headline only works sometimes – about half of the sites. The rest just show the standard Dashboard Headline “Dashboard”.

    I this a known issue and how do I fix it?

    Hi @smu,

    Can you try to disable other 3rd party plugins to see if we have a plugin conflict?

    I just checked a couple of installations but that doesn’t happen on my end.

    Hi David,

    I tried to deactive all other plugins, one at a time. Didn’t help.

    Then I tried to deactive all other plugins at once a left the Dashboard plugin active. Also didn’t help.

    Seems strange.

    I am running WordPress 5.4.1 with the following plugins:

    • Google XML Sitemaps

    • WP Links Page
    • WP Mail SMTP
    • Yoast SEO

    Hi Steen,

    we’ve made some tweaks in an attempt to fix this with the latest release, is this still an issue for you on the current version?

    I still couldn’t recreate this on my end and we haven’t had similar reports.

    Hi David,

    I’ve updated the plugin (to version 2.8.1), but it didn’t change anything, I’m afraid.

    Could it perhaps have something to do with localization? I am running with Danish locale on the front- and backend of my WordPress website.
