• Hello,

I have started translating my LearnPress website by using polylang. Everything seems to work so far, but the Start Now button in the second language takes me to the English checkout page. Any idea what is it that I am missing?

    THanks

    Hi sapunce,

    Thank you for contacting us.

To translate the “Start Now” button into your desired language, we recommend using the Loco Translate plugin.

    Hi Brianvu-tp,

    thank you for the answer.

I will clarify, my issue is not with the start now button translation, but with its navigation.

When clicking the start now button on a translated course it opens the checkout page in English instead of the translated one.

FYI I registered the translated checkout page.

    Thanks 😊

    Hi sapunce,

Thank you for clarifying your issue.

Please check the following settings in your Polylang plugin:

    1. Language -> Settings -> Custom post types and Taxonomies: Ensure that all LearnPress-related custom post types and taxonomies are enabled for translation.
    2. LearnPress -> Settings -> General: Verify that the pages assigned in these settings are correctly associated with their respective languages.

    Best regards,
    Brianvu-tp

    Hi Brianvu-tp,

Thank you for the pointers. Yes the custom post types and taxonomies are enabled for translation and all LearnPress pages are assigned.

The problem is still there, any ideas would be highly appreciated.

    Thanks!

Is there a documentation or guidelines if the Learnpress multi-language setup is even possible with Polyglot?

What is the best way to achieve it?

    Thanks!

    Hi sapunce,

Thank you for your continued feedback and the screenshot.

From the screenshot you provided, it appears that you have correctly associated the LearnPress pages with their respective languages in Polylang. However, because the default language of LearnPress is English, the text elements within the plugin itself need to be translated into your second language.

To achieve this, we recommend using the Loco Translate plugin. This plugin will allow you to translate the static English text used by LearnPress into your desired language, ensuring that the checkout page and other LearnPress elements are displayed correctly in the translated version of your site.

    Best regards,
    Brianvu-tp
