500 errors are generally a “catch-all” error, means the error log will tell you exactly what the PHP failure is.
Plese enable WP Debug and let me know, or ask the Server Admin for a log copy.
Eventually, then I can pinpoint the issue and solution.
If not, it’ll be required to post the issue at our forum again, since here I cannot ask for Site Access and similar things.

We’re using Bluehost and found that their default PHP version is 5.2. I upgraded to PHP version 7.0.25 and now it’s running fine. Is there a PHP version that you recommend?
