Can’t Edit, Create or Do Anything in the Backend
-
The tables still work in the front of the website, but I can’t do anything in the backend. I have the Tablepress link in the side menu and the only option under that is Upgrade. When I view the list of tables, the only thing I can do is show and copy the short code. Screenshot:

Here is what I’ve done/checked:
- I deleted the plugin folder and uploaded a new copy.
- I installed the Fix corrupted tables extension and activated it.
- I rolled back to Version 2.4.4.
- PHP, WordPress Core, Plugins and Themes are all up to date, except a couple of plugins that are updated on the live site, but not the staging site I am working on – need license to update.
Nothing is making it work.
I will try deactivating plugins and using a standard theme next, but I thought I’d see if you had any ideas first.
Thanks.
