Can’t access folders on server

    Hi people. I have an issue trying to access folders on my server, that are not part of my website. If I link directly to the files (eg. http://www.ollihirvonen.com/pics/test.jpg) it works, but if I want to see the contents of the folder (http://www.ollihirvonen.com/pics/), I just get a wordpress error message saying “Page not found”. I’m not sure if this is a wordpress or hosting issue, but it used to be possible to link direct to folders and see the contents. Any help would be appreciated!

    Hi,

    WP consider a page or any post URL if we add any thing after the site URL like http://www.abc.com/test and if a test page is not created from the backend it will show error page not found 404.

    Also look into .htaccess file for folder access.
