bp activation email still gets sent out anyways

    Hi,
    I am using buddypress for signup. I installed “Eonet Manual User Approve”, and all it does is to display the message in the buddypress signup page that “This site is accessible to approved users only. After registration, you have to wait for the admin approval before access.” but then after a user clicks to complete the signup, he immediate gets the “activation” email that buddypress sends. I though that “Eonet Manual User Approve” is supposed to stop automatic sending of the activation email, and instead let the admin manually activate the user.
    So I am not sure what is going on.
    Am I supposed to turn off something in Buddypress plugin?

    Hello mmesarina,

    I am sorry for the long delay. No the point is that it actually works in the reverse order. The email sent by BuddyPress is sent in order to verify the email address, so only after an user has verified him email, the admin will be notified of the new user sign up and he will be able to approve or deny the new user.

    I hope it makes sense.
