As Crazy Lazy is replacing images with a placeholder in the markup this does not work.
But you can try this plugin from our friend @florianbrinkmann
https://de.wordpress.org/plugins/lazy-loading-responsive-images/
Then you have to enable the unveilhooks in the settings and prepare your CSS a little bit:
https://github.com/aFarkas/lazysizes/tree/gh-pages/plugins/unveilhooks
This should be the solution you are looking for. Hopefully you can access the CSS to add the needed selector.

Hi Michael,
habe gerade mal kurz draufgeschaut. Es geht dir wahrscheinlich um das Hintergrundbild hinter »Michael Kummer’s Blog«? Wenn ich mir den Code anschaue, nutzt du für die Site vermutlich einen Page-Builder oder sowas? Dann wird es leider wahrscheinlich schwer da die nötigen Anpassungen zu machen.
Wenn du mir genauere Details nennst, wie das Hintergrundbild eingebaut ist, kann ich da gerne schauen ob mit dem entsprechenden Tool was möglich ist.
