Advanced Search has stopped displaying output

    The veterans directory has recently stopped displaying any search results from the advanced search fiels. The Data used to come up below the map. The Keyword search is still working? I have checked the log and there seems to be some depreciation that could be causing the issue.

    This first thing to check on this is page caching. I see you are using a page cache, make sure the page with the searchable list is exempted from caching.

    If that doesn’t help, I would suggest you try using the “Use Alternate Session Method” setting, found in the main plugin settings under the advanced tab. If this is already checked, just re-save it.

    Another way to possibly fix this problem is to enable the “session.use_cookies” setting in your website’s php configuration.

    I know that it was working before, but since I don’t know what’s changed, these are steps you can take to make sure it is configured correctly.

    Depreciation notices will never the the direct cause of a problem, they are only there to warn the developer that their code might not work in the future. I’d be curious to see what those deprecated notices were if you want to post them here.

    Hi Roland,

    Thank you for such a prompt reply and brilliant service. You were right. I have removed the caching plugin from the directory site and all is back to normal.
