I am trying to add our church calendar to the website. When I used the calendar I’d with the short code pretty Google calendar, I was able to create the calendar. The problem is that the separate calendars that make up the calendar do not display. If I try to add a sub calendar, it will only show as a separate calendar. I want to add all of the sub calendars in one overall calendar.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Have you checked the plugin settings to see if there’s an option to display all sub-calendars in a combined view? Sometimes there’s a setting like “merge calendars” or “include sub-calendars” that needs to be toggled on. If that doesn’t work, maybe try a different plugin like The Events Calendar.

I did check farther into the settings and was able to see the process needed to add multiple calendars, which I did successfully. The problem that then occurred was that the events did not expand within the WordPress site. When I clicked on the event on the page, I was taken to the original Google Calendar and given full editing rights to the calendar (edit an entry, delete an entry, add an entry). This is not an acceptable occurrence. Any help on this additional problem? Also the different colors for the different calendars were lost when shown in WordPress.

I found out by searching through the Internet that the full access issue arose because I was still logged in to the Google account that had editing rights to the calendar being used on the website. This issue is resolved.
