Adding a subdomain to an existing account

    I need to add a subdomain to an existing account so I can track it via Google Analytics. How do I do this?

    Hi @josejimenez,

    Thanks for reaching out.

    Typically with MonsterInsights, there’s no need to configure anything extra to track users across different subdomains of the same domain. Authenticating MonsterInsights on your subdomain site should take care of tracking because we help automatically create data streams (if needed) or connect to existing ones.

    That being said, currently our developers are on working on resolving an issue where a new data stream is getting created errantly, instead of using the same measurement ID. I’m sorry about that!

    I’m not able to say exactly when it will be resolved, but as soon as we’ve released a patch for this issue, I’ll reach out again.
