Friday, March 13 Whitefish Mountain Resort Whitebark Pine Education Day

Friday, March 13 and Friday, March 20 All Volunteer Seeding at USFS Coeur D’Alene Nursery

Volunteers will sow whitebark seeds in trays and need to be able to stand for several consecutive hours. No previous experience is necessary. We have space for up to seven volunteers each day. Want to participate or have questions? Email our education committee chair, Erin, at [email protected] .

Webinar Series

The “High-Elevation, Five-Needle White Pines: Science and Management Webinar Series” occurs the third Tuesday of each month from 12–1 p.m. Mountain Time during the academic year. All webinars are held by Zoom and are free and open to the public.

Summer Hike Series

We plan hiking adventures to high-elevation forests each summer with Wild Montana and other organizations. All hikes are open to the public. Join us to learn more about the conservation of whitebark pines, help conduct tree inventories and revel in the beauty of these wondrous landscapes.
