bad Apple...bad!
I find it hard to believe that Apple is programmatically nagging users to update to Tahoe (despite compatibility issues) without giving users the choice to say no.
Some time ago, I learned the hard way that Tahoe won’t even boot on my 2020 iMac (Intel). And I can’t get back the huge amount of time consumed in recovering my machine. Back then I chose to do the update, but currently, many users with Automatic Updates turned on are learning the same lesson.
Why doesn’t Apple know about these compatibility issues? What in hell happened to them?
As a long-time customer, this is incredible to me.
Thanks for listening.

sometimes you put it out there...
…and sometimes you should take it back.
That feeling when I publicly put something out there and come to realize it could be taken as something entirely different than what I intended to say.
A downside of being a sarcastic wiseguy (like myself) is it’s easy to lose sight of the fact that other sarcastic wiseguys are probably the only ones who will get the joke… #
I’m thankful a part of my routine is to read everything I write a second time after at least a few hours. Everything I do is a work in progress and mistakes are just another part of the routine.
Now you know why I feel free to edit what I write. Writing like coding, always has room to improve.
Cheers,
joe
