If you like to ski and not stand in lines at the mega-resorts, Eagle Point is the place to go.

It’s a smaller resort best known for “Powder Fridays.” Because it is only open Friday through Monday, any snow that falls during the week will be waiting for you on Friday. It’s also a great place to start the new skiers out where you know they are safe, won’t get run over by crowds, and can take their time making their way down the slopes.
