Friends who play together, stay together. That\u2019s certainly true for talent manager Guy Oseary, Woody Harrelson, Matthew McConaughey and Chris Rock. As the four pals take a break during a recent yacht vacation to celebrate Oseary being named Variety\u2019s Music Mogul of the Year, Oseary can barely get through his introduction for a Variety video without McConaughey laughing at him or Harrelson telling him to \u201cadd more energy\u201d to his line readings and to \u201csmile more.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s to do things outside of the traditional,\u201d Oseary says when Harrelson grills him on what it means to be a mogul. \u201cThat\u2019s possibly why they awarded me this. Going out- side of the traditional and looking beyond what I had been working on, expanding into other areas and, luckily, being successful.\u201d<\/p>\n

Oseary calls Harrelson, McCon- aughey and Rock his \u201cbrothers\u201d and stresses how important making time for them and his family is to his career moving forward. \u201cHe\u2019s a kind mogul,\u201d Rock says with a laugh. \u201cA benevolent mogul! A caring mogul! You under- stand? These things are not separate.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cOne of his great talents, and we\u2019re living proof of that, is I don\u2019t know a better curator of people,\u201d McConaughey says of Oseary as Rock and Harrelson nod. \u201cI\u2019d also say he\u2019s one of my top three favorite DJs of all time. No one gathers the right group together from different places better than this guy.\u201d<\/p>\n

Harrelson also hails Oseary as a \u201cgreat curator\u201d of people, adding, \u201cHe\u2019s introduced me to several of my closest friends.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is a brotherhood right here,\u201d Oseary says of his vacation buddies. \u201cWe\u2019ve laughed together. We\u2019ve cried together. I\u2019m humbled to get an award like this but more humbled to have these guys as my brothers.\u201d<\/p>\n
