\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\tComcast-owned network Sky has revealed its upcoming slate in the U.K. as it seeks to bolster its content following the dissolution of its deal with HBO.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\tAmong the Sky Originals coming to the network are \u201cMeantime,\u201d a new crime thriller starring James McAvoy, which is currently in production, inheritance drama \u201cPossession\u201d from Karla Crome starring Gugu Mbatha-Raw and Season 2 of \u201cSweetpea\u201d with Ella Purnell.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\tIt will also broadcast \u201cHeated Rivalry\u201d Season 2 next year along with mystery thriller \u201cYaga\u201d plus \u201cSuperfakes,\u201d a crime drama exec produced by and starring Lucy Liu, Keke Palmer-starrer \u201cThe \u2018Burbs\u201d (coming April 1) and upcoming Emilia Clarke series \u201cPonies,\u201d which is set to land in May.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\tOther acquisitions include \u201cEuphoria\u201d Season 3, \u201cThe Miniature Wife\u201d and \u201cHouse of the Dragon\u201d Season 3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\tThe unscripted slate meanwhile includes \u201cSaturday Night Live U.K.\u201d which launches this weekend with Tina Fey doing inaugural hosting duties, a new format for competition show \u201cLandscape Artist of the Year,\u201d and \u201c100 Day Split,\u201d a 12-part series following couples who embark on a reset by living apart for 100 days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\tFinally the film slate encompasses Jo Nesb\u00f8 adaptation \u201cBlood on the Snow\u201d from Cary Joji Fukunaga, Aardman\u2019s \u201cShaun the Sheep: The Beast of Mossy Bottom,\u201d Ashley Walters\u2019 feature debut \u201cAnimol,\u201d Aaron Taylor Johnson-starrer \u201cFuze\u201d and \u201cMutiny,\u201d which features Jason Statham.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\tThe preview event included remarks from Sky CEO Dana Strong with appearances from talent such as Meghann Fahy, James McAvoy, Ashley Walters, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Jack Whitehall, Rob Brydon, Steve Coogan, Gemma Collins, Dani Dyer and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
