She has also focused on lifting up female talent, setting production pacts with Penelope Cruz and other notables. Fern\u00e1ndez Espeso has expanded Mediapro\u2019s pipeline to encompass 30 production houses that help the company capitalize on the growing demand for TV series that can travel across the world. Fern\u00e1ndez Espeso has steered the effort for The Mediapro Studio to make its productions more saleable by lensing in English. She has also sought to increase diversity in every aspect of Mediapro operations by recruiting from outside of Spain.
