Found out about a new saltwater store around me so I went down there to check them out.
Found a few pieces of cured fiji rock

I think this is fiji tokota rock. Got this piece to have a a little bit different looking rock.
Got sick of that ceap plastic Sg meter that would never read the same result twice.
I dialed this one in using that salinity soultion I got aswell. My SG results are dead on now for sure.
Inside of the box
Came with the screwdriver dial in the reading. Also has a little eye dropper. All you do is drop 4-5 drops onto the end of it. Put the plastic window down and looking into the other end. You will see blue and white. Where the blue meets the white you read the SG and thats it.
Water tests still at 0 but diatom + hair algae + red algae. Gotta be close to the cycle starting.
Dont know what this is but only saw it this one time and have not see it since.
Temp 78.4 Turned the heater down to just above 72. Its now holding at 78.6 max at daylights and 78-78.2 at night

Temp 79.4 Temp has been rising during the day a bit more then I would like. I will be trying a few things out to try and stablize this over the next few days.

That longer tunnle that my Spionid worm created latley has broken in half. Noticed that tonight during the dusk cycle of the lights. He was out feeling around when I took this pic, you can see this if you look close enough to the left of the tube. Click the below image for a high rez shot.
I decided to just test ammonia every day till I start to see the spike. The other 2 will remain at 0 till ammonia is up and guess what…. its still at 0. It might look a BIT darker then it was yesterday…. But still not at the .25 color
SG went down to 1.024 today. So instead of topping off with RO I toped off with Saltwater. The reason for this I would guess is from using some water for the water testing as well as the skimmer removing some. Thats not really evaporation thats just taking tank water away then adding ro back for top off that would lower it. At leasts thats my guess as to way its droped a bit.
