Still Water Photography Paddle - Accessible Guided Paddle Tour

From AUD $49.00
  • Location: Greenfields, WA 6210
  • Product code: PETU0W
We are excited to bring a series of accessible guided paddle tours as part of our Paddle-trails to Nature Project support by the WA Government, Visit Mandurah and the City of Mandurah.

The Still Waters Photography Paddle is a relaxed, slow-paced paddling experience created specifically for photography enthusiasts who want the rare opportunity to capture Mandurah's waterways from the water.

Gliding quietly through sheltered sections of the Serpentine River system, this experience offers ever changing natural scenes - mirror-like reflections, birdlife among reeds and samphire flats, textured vegetation and the subtle movement of water and light. Paddling at water level allows for angles and compositions that simply can't be captured from shore. We have also experienced being able to get closer to wildlife without disturbing them, in a canoe more than other craft.

This is not a photography lesson or a workshop. Instead, the focus is on time, access and stillness. The calm, protected waters allow participants to paddle gently, pause frequently, and take photographs from the canoe at their own pace. Your guide manages the route and timing to maximise opportunities while maintaining a peaceful, unhurried flow.

Ideal for hobby photographers, nature lovers and creatives, this experience encourages observation, patience and quiet connection with the environment - where the best images come naturally.

This paddle offers a sense of gentle exploration without challenging conditions. With stable triple canoes (2 people per canoe) , professional guidance and a supportive environment, the Still Waters Photography Paddle is perfect for all abilities looking to enjoy Mandurah's natural beauty at an easy, unhurried pace.
