For Donors
and Supporters
Why support Stella’s Place? Because we do things differently – and it works!
Stella’s Place provides free mental health services for young adults aged 16 to 29. We empower our participants to learn new skills and
manage their own mental health, accessing support on their own terms.
Our unique model works; we look at mental health through the lens of lived experience and evolve our approach as we learn from the
people we serve.
At Stella’s Place, participants have access to a holistic menu of programs virtually and in person, including peer-to-peer support,
clinical services, wellness, and art. It’s a place to find your community and face the challenges of today, surrounded by encouragement
“You have to know your community – respect them and want to help them, but understand their needs. Working with people is more about listening to them, being present and not about jumping to solutions or problem solving too soon.
I’m able to combine my training with my own experiences and reach others in a really personal way.”

Nothing For Us Without Us.
At Stella’s Place, we understand that individual recovery has many pathways. That’s why we integrate traditional group therapy and individual counselling with peer support, an evidence-based approach that transforms mental health services, improves outcomes, and sets new standards for supporting young adults.
Your Privacy Matters
Stella’s Place values the privacy of individuals who provide us with their personal information. We have implemented comprehensive privacy policies and practices in an effort to treat such personal information respectfully.
The Land We’re On
We know that we are linked to one another through the winds that blow air into our lungs and the waters that flow deep into the earth and up into the sky as we gather in this virtual space. We recognize that the land under our feet has long been home to Indigenous People, many of whom have been forced to migrate to other lands. The names of the people who were the first to live, rejoice, mourn, and sing on the land where we sit are now shared.
We acknowledge the land we are meeting on is the traditional territory of many nations including the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishinaabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee and the Wendat peoples and is now home to many diverse First Nations, Inuit and Métis people.
