Terms of Service

These Terms govern your access to and use of SkipVids.com (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Service Description

SkipVids provides an ad-free interface and utility tools (bookmarks, cross-device history, channel-subscription backups, sponsorship-segment skipping, dislike restoration) for videos publicly available on YouTube. We do not host, store or retransmit any video or audio files. All playback occurs via the official YouTube iframe API.

1A. Membership Activation & Support

Each paid SkipVids membership includes personalised technical support and manual account management provided directly by SkipVids staff. All accounts are manually reviewed, activated, and monitored on an ongoing basis before unrestricted access to the SkipVids network is granted. Access to the SkipVids digital features is supplied together with these personalised services as a single combined package.

2. No Affiliation

SkipVids is independent and not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by YouTube LLC, Google LLC, Meta Platforms Inc or their subsidiaries.

3. Eligibility

• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account and at least 18 years old to purchase a subscription.
• You confirm that you are not located in, ordinarily resident in, or otherwise subject to the jurisdiction of any country or region under UK, EU, or US sanctions, and that you are not a restricted or denied party. SkipVids may restrict or suspend access where required to comply with applicable sanctions laws.

4. Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account.

5. Subscription & Billing

• Plans & Price – Premium access costs $9.99 per year for a limited time only.
• Auto-renewal – Subscriptions renew automatically for equal periods unless cancelled. We e-mail a reminder at least seven (7) days before each renewal.
• Payment processing – All payments handled by Stripe; we never store full card numbers.
• Cancellation – Cancel any time via Login → Dashboard → Cancel Subscription. Access remains until the current period ends.
• Refunds – See Refund Policy below.
• No Donations/Tips – SkipVids does not accept viewer donations, pay-per-view fees or tipping. Any "support the author" links route off-site and never touch SkipVids systems.

6. Acceptable-Use Policy

You agree not to:

• circumvent the YouTube iframe API or download/record videos;
• upload, link to or encourage content that infringes copyright, promotes violence, hate, adult material or illegal activity;
• reverse-engineer, scrape or overload the Service;
• share login details with other users
• transmit malware, unsolicited advertising or personal data of others;
• use the Service in violation of YouTube's Terms of Service or any applicable law.
• SkipVids does not provide or facilitate any feature that downloads, records, or permanently stores YouTube videos or audio. External links to third-party tools are offered "as is" and are displayed solely for informational purposes. Their use lies wholly outside the Service, and any interaction with such tools is initiated entirely by the user at their own discretion.

7. Intellectual Property & YouTube API

• You retain ownership of content you upload (e.g., comments, playlist titles). You grant us a non-exclusive licence to store and display such content for the purpose of providing the Service.
• You acknowledge that all video content belongs to its respective creator or YouTube LLC.
• The Service uses YouTube API Services in compliance with Section III of the YouTube API Terms. Users agree to be bound by YouTube's Terms of Service.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or our Acceptable-Use Policy. Upon termination, premium access ends immediately.

9. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, SkipVids shall not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

10. Copyright & DMCA Policy

TV / IPTV Directory Disclaimer: SkipVids.com provides access to a publicly maintained IPTV directory but does not host, own, or control any video streams. These links are sourced from the IPTV-org repository on GitHub, a community-driven project that aggregates publicly available IPTV streams.

• SkipVids.com is not a streaming platform. We do not host or transmit video content ourselves.
• We provide a directory that links to streams which, in good faith, we believe have been authorized for public distribution.
• All video streams are delivered by third-party providers.

If you believe a stream linked in our IPTV directory infringes your copyright, you may:

• File a takedown notice with IPTV-org, which maintains the source repository of these links.
• Alternatively, contact [email protected]. We will promptly review your notice and, if appropriate, remove the link from our site.

Important: Removing a link from SkipVids.com does not remove the underlying content from the internet. If the stream itself is infringing, you must also contact the actual hosting provider. SkipVids.com reserves the right to remove any links at its discretion and without prior notice. Please email with the following:

• URL of the allegedly infringing link;
• proof of ownership;
• your contact information; and
• a statement under penalty of perjury that the notice is accurate.

YouTube Embeds Disclaimer: SkipVids.com also allows users to watch YouTube videos directly through Google's official YouTube IFrame API. These videos are streamed from YouTube's servers and are subject to YouTube's Terms of Service.

• SkipVids.com does not host or store any YouTube videos.
• All videos are delivered directly by YouTube.
• Copyright owners retain full control over their content, including the ability to disable embedding in their YouTube account settings.

Accordingly:

• No copyrighted content is stored on our servers.
• SkipVids.com does not circumvent YouTube's technical protections.
• We provide a user-facing embed of YouTube's own player, exactly as permitted by YouTube's API and Terms of Service.

If you have a copyright concern regarding a YouTube video shown on SkipVids.com, you should first file a copyright complaint directly with YouTube. If you still wish to contact us, email [email protected] with details, and we will review your request in good faith. Please email with the following:

• URL of the allegedly infringing YouTube video;
• proof of ownership;
• your contact information; and
• a statement under penalty of perjury that the notice is accurate.

11. Service Availability & YouTube Policy Changes

SkipVids relies on YouTube's publicly available embed features. In the event that YouTube modifies, restricts, or discontinues the way embedded videos are served—including (but not limited to) the introduction of ads on embedded videos or blocking embedded playback—SkipVids cannot be held responsible for such changes. These circumstances are outside our control and do not constitute grounds for a refund, except where covered by our 30-day money-back guarantee.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold SkipVids harmless from any claims or damages arising from your misuse of the Service or breach of these Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales; the courts of London have exclusive jurisdiction.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be e-mailed and posted seven (7) days before taking effect. Continued use constitutes acceptance.

Refund Policy

• 30-day cooling-off – Cancel within 30 days of purchase for a full refund if no premium features have been used.
• Pro-rata refunds – After 30 days, we refund the unused portion of the current billing cycle.
