How We Serve Our Community

Rescue Outreach Mission provides emergency resources such as food and shelter at our Sanford location, along with a “Housing for Families” program. We also assist with clothing and counseling, as well as access to comprehensive case management and referral services that help those in need find useful resources beyond those we offer.

Our Philosophy of Care

At Rescue Outreach Mission, we’re focused on helping men, women and children find their pathway back to housing and ending their experience with homelessness. If needed, we provide additional supportive services and case management once permanent housing has been secured. By connecting systems like the Homeless Management Information System (HMIS) and Coordinated Entry System, we can measure the capacity and effectiveness of our homeless services.

How We Help

Shelter Services

When an individual or family experiences homelessness, we offer those in need a safe place to stay. After that, if they are willing to work to end their experience with homelessness, we help them develop their plan through case management and help them succeed.
