Who We Are
Tucked away near the coast of Eastern North Carolina is a picture-perfect community, complete with world-class club amenities while still maintaining the charm and ease of a small hometown. The Murphy family, local developers of whom several are residents in River Landing themselves, envisioned this community to be an active and vibrant part of Eastern North Carolina.
In the beginning,they promised to incorporate an 18-hole golf course, fitness center and a clubhouse. Since the community’s start in 1996, the developers have delivered two Top 40 18-hole golf courses, a grand clubhouse, a fitness center with an outdoor pool, walking and biking trails, and venues for a variety of social groups.
In all that they do, the Murphy family strives to exceed expectations and deliver more than they promise. For the past 26 years, River Landing has been a living testament to that philosophy. Once you drive through the gates you will understand why River Landing is not just another community – it’s a family.
