    I hope that this is a long series. Between the action and the romance this is a great series! Although it ended in a cliffhanger, it still is a amazing book. So if you don't like series that end this way, then stop now.

    There is always a ton of action in books by this author, along with a lot of omegas in distress and bad guys being bad guys. It took a bit as it usually does for the alpha in the book to get over the I’m staying away for your own good thing that alphas tend to do, but he finally pulled it together in the end.     Kai has big trust issues that just get worse as there is trouble within his new pack. As we left Elliott and Ryker's story, Elliott had just received a frantic call from Kai. With this call, Marco is on edge because he feels responsible for Kai leaving and now in danger. This is where vengeful wolves enter the picture. Rescue Squad has their paws full of issues surrounding the rescue of Kai and then his son Maddox. During all of this, Marco is trying to keep his panther hidden because his mother is a spiteful and selfish Panthera on the west coast. Let's just say height of family drama there. This is our panther clan issue which thankfully, Regina helps out with. With all of these things happening he is still trying to prove to Kai that he can be trusted as a mate and father to little Maddox. This one is full of things happening with the pack adding some cubs and pups from another pack along with a few unmated omegas.
    They also take in another omega that sets Kai on edge but may also be a mate for Fox?! Can't wait for that one! We also can't leave out Zeke who, once again, plays a vital role in the story. He also could be mate to our pregnant bedridden friend, Darriel.
    So much going on and I love it. You need to read from the start of the series to keep up with everyone and the details behind each character. You will enjoy it if you like omegaverse, mpreg and with action thrown in.

    Shifter Rescue #2. Paranormal shifter M-M mpreg romance. Best read as part of the series in order.
    Marco worked as a medic for the rangers service when he met his soul mate Kai. Fearing pack threats, Marco let Kai leave him. It wasn’t fair to keep the gorgeous omega for himself when he couldn’t protect him. Kai is once again hurt that’s he’s not wanted and runs away. Unfortunately the pack he’s temporarily with is undergoing leadership changes and all the omegas as no more than collateral to be bartered. When Marco hears that news, he and his crew go on a rescue mission.

    I read the first book in the series a year or more ago, so had to look at a few reviews before getting too far into this one. It helped but for anyone that does not care too much about background will still be fine to start here.
    Kai is so emotionally wounded and I felt sad for him as I listened to his background. I was then gratified when Marco stepped up to plan a rescue and then their tentative relationship grew in bits and pieces. There are a lot of pack dynamics here and threats from outside that add twists and turns to the storyline.
    There is a series hook in the epilogue. It will make you immediately reach for the next book so don’t read it if you have plans to read something different next. 🤣
    I will definitely be continuing this series.

    Hmmm. I don’t know what this is supposed to be? I thought a MM romance but there wasn’t much Marco and Kai. There was, however, a lot of everything else. We have family drama with Marco and his clan; We have pack drama with violent challenges, separating families, selling folks. I’m like what in the heck is going on. There was just too much happening here and the book could definitely use a good edit. With all of that being said I may check out book one and three. I was a little intrigued by Darriel and Zeke.
