You make one batch of dough on a Sunday night, then leave it in the fridge. Every day you take a chunk of dough and make a bread something (pizza, pot pie, cinnamon sticks, etc) faster than it takes to get in your car and pick up Rotten Ronnie’s. The cool part is as the dough sits longer in the fridge, the flavor really matures.

So my Monday night looks like 2min to roll out the dough and spread the sauce, 3min on toppings (including knife prep), and 7 minutes to bake at 500F+

Tue Pot pie? Simple, add Costco chicken and rinsed leeks to flour, water, heavy cream, and spices (8min) on the stovetop, place in a bowl, take a dough ball from Sunday roll it out and place on top of the bowl and mixture. 350F for 20 mins of hands off time.

All of these meals are under 3$ per serving. I work 40-50 hours per week and feed and clean after three kids. Their favorite is honey butter bread by TheOutDoorBoys as a quick snack.

You better not be paying those prices if you’re poor. You could make 8 pizzas for that price. That’s just bad budgeting.

I can’t believe NASA stuck with LH2 propellant. That shit can sneak out of anything, including metal tanks. Same reason your birthday ballon is inflated but on the floor after a few days, the helium scadoodled and left the O2 behind.

Oh sure, LH2 has more lifting power but SpaceX launches 10x as many ships with their methaLOX engines. Even Saturn V ran on LOX in the 60’s.

I got COVID in June of 2022 and by August my heart would frequently race to over 160bpm when simply walking. I was passing out when I stood… just lots of stuff I never associated with COVID.

My cardiologist took all this information and decided to make me run on a treadmill and asked me if I ever exercised before. I woke up on a tilt table gasping for air with 6 people around me. Doctors at the time didn’t have this information and it took me years to become brave enough to see a doctor again (medical ptsd). My wife left me because she said I just stopped doing anything around the house. My job is suffering, and my family just wants me to walk it off.

Now, because I went untreated for so long, my circulatory system is falling apart but the new doctors are finally believing me and there has been a lot of research into what long COVID is and isn’t. I’ve been diagnosed with POTS & chronic fatigue syndrome. No medical professional is saying there’s a cure for me and I’ve had two heart attacks in three years but I’m hopeful.

I worked at Laser Quest for years and there was a PJ’s in the parking lot. When we would order birthday pizzas, they would always bring us a staff pie, usually cheese. Super nice gesture but after a few months I couldn’t even look at their pies, for years after I quit, without mentally tasting that cup of garlic grease and pepperoncini. 🤢🤮
