queer.party has shut down.

On Monday, 15th of December 2025, after more than eight years of operation, queer.party was shut down.

I thank everyone who found a place there and everyone who supported me throughout the years. Running queer.party meant a lot, and I'm deeply saddened that it came to end.

queer.party remained online after the self-destruct command was ran, to ensure as much time as possible for people to log in and download their account archive, but on the 2nd of January 2026, all services were completely shut down, and data destruction began.

The source code for all patches that were applied to queer.party's specific deployment of Mastodon will remain online on Sourcehut for as long as reasonably possible, and the queer.party domain will be kept registered for as long as reasonably possible.
