101·1 month agoWhen I was young (7-8ish), the car I was in was t-boned and flipped upsidedown. After crawling out over broken glass and walking to the nearby gas station, a stranger got me a Sprite while the adults dealt with the insurance, cops, etc. (no one was injured)
Slackware was my very first Linux distro (now I feel old).

1·2 months agoOh no, when they deserialized the int/pointer they used it like the original structure (which now points to freed memory). They meant to serialize the data structure across, but only sent the memory address.
My backstory: I am a [[class]] who is excited to go adventuring with my best buddies who I have no conflict with at all, and I am willing to die for them.

2·2 months agoMine was very much like that, but they also deleted the pointer after sending it, but before receiving it for good measure.






I had some old computer speakers I use on one of the two I use. It works pretty good for my purposes, but I am not trying to do a whole house solution.
