27·4 days agoThe rest of the world is just dealing with other countries at this point. Tariff threat is meaning less and less the more Trump uses it because there are ample opportunities elsewhere.
Absolutely to everything you said and I even learned a few things I didn’t know about. This shouldn’t even be happening. But I’m watching the republicans and see how they react to this. They aren’t even thinking about this stuff. They aren’t even talking about any of these things nor do they seem willing or able to. They probably don’t even know about most of the points you made.
The ones that completely drank the kool-aid absolutely don’t care and will agree with Trump on everything no matter how detrimental it is. The ones that “don’t agree with Trump on everything” are either liars that just hide behind that when pressed or cowards that won’t stand against the grain of their party. They’ll have their head in the sand until it affects them personally. These are irrational, flippant people that have no concept of the damage this man is doing to the US and its diplomatic and economic relations with the rest of the world for generations to come. The republicans that do understand this are impotent people.
They are burying their heads in the sand and not addressing it because that would make them recognize they made a mistake.
This is the way if you aren’t rich and can master compartmentalizing.
4·6 days agoHe’s right. We should stop hating on it and embrace it. We need to stop thinking of ourselves for once here. I mean we’re jeopardizing this poor man’s yacht money for Pete’s sake! How is this floundering ceo going to make ends meet without those 7 digit bonuses? We are threatening his livelihood. We should be ashamed.

Windows 11 better not fuck my hardware up like windows 10 did. Surely they will have fixed that potential issue. Surely they have….surely….

Ultimately it wont work. Banning porn just makes people have to take a couple extra steps with VPNs and such to access it. The people that banned it will be right along side those VPN users too.
They get 2 interviews at most from me if there isn’t a panel or skills interview they told me about in that process. I had a prospective job try to schedule a 3rd general interview once, with no panel/skills in the process, and I asked them what more they needed to deliberate on. I heard them out about their reasoning and told them that it was clear to me they are wasting my time, hung up, and moved on. I’m not going to answer the same dipshit interview questions over and over for the same crap job that’s going to underpay and overwork me then lay me off as soon as it benefits shareholders.
