Removed Comment Considering that I hold a handful of more moderate or centrist opinions and they are seemingly entirely hated here I will say that yes the lack of right leaning presence has led to Lemmy being a far left echo chamber and in certain situations a massive circle jerk.
With nobody around even slightly questioning their beliefs they just snowball each other into more of a hate boner for anything they deem slightly right of their position.

Removed Comment Not my entire comment history. I do occasionally say things that are the prevailing opinion on this website and even those things are downvoted lol. Not like the fake Internet points matter anyway, but it does prove my point.
Not a personality disorder. I don't always intend to start arguments (I understand that many of my opinions will inherently start arguments given the people around), but am happy to argue with people if that's what they want to do. If you actually look at my comment history you will also see plenty of situations where I am being helpful or talking about non-political things just fine.
I think *you* might be aware of the degree of echo chamber that Lemmy is, but most users here absolutely do not have an ounce of outside perspective on anything being discussed here.
