1 year ago	mod	Removed Comment I legitimately think that trump hates being president, because then he has responsibilities. He'd much rather appear to have a need for donations, and just keep the money. He did EVERYTHING possible to not win. Everything he said, and did drastically makes more sense if he isn't trying to win. He acted like an asshole for ~~months~~ his entire life. If you look at this as "guy plays an act of the clear wrong choice", you begin to realize that he absolutely knew how stupid "they're eating the cats and dogs" sounded. But at the end of the day, Americans are idiots, who relate to the personification of an idiot. So he wins. All the experts said it was going to be a close race. And then election day came, but democrat voters didn't. And Americans showed that when they went to the polls, they had no plan on who to vote for.
