Removed Comment Be aware that some people aren't sexual? How about we just let that be someone's personal business? Why is it not weird to go around telling everyone you don't have sex? It's pretty weird if someone goes around constantly telling me they do have sex. Your identity should be WAY MORE than your sexual preferences. If that's what you decide to be known for, I just think you lack anything interesting in your life. In the disabled community, there is the concept of "person before condition". Such as "This is Anon, who happens to have X". It's considered insensitive to say "this is the person with X, Anon". A person is more than just one trait. Make this *part* of who you are, not the whole thing. by fishos@lemmy.world
