3 years ago	mod	Removed Comment For about 99% of men, there won't be any casual sex, just the feeling that you're garbage nobody will ever even look at. It's not healthy. And then for the 1% of men it works for, it works too well. You're drowning in shallow choices. Meanwhile, it's no good for women either. The one night stands are fine, but just like the 99% of men end up stuck at the stage of seeing photos of pretty girls, 99% of women end up thinking they're on the ladder to convert one night stands with people they really like to a relationship, but the few men they're chasing aren't interested since they have so much choice so it ultimately ends up with the same feeling that they're garbage being used only for sex by fuckboys. If dating sites helped people find more sex, then we should see more people having more sex than in the past, but the opposite is true: gen z is having less sex than previous generations. You can argue that there are other factors at work, but I think it's a major factor -- get young men and young women in the same room together, something's gonna go down. If everyone's playing on their phones, good luck. There's good arguments to be made for having fewer relationships and less sex, but they're not really arguments in favor of using the tool that's leading to that imo.
