Removed Comment >You can grow plants to eat, or you can grow plants for a cow to eat and then eat it. false dichotomy. cows eat corn cobs and corn stalks and soy cake. people eat corny and corn syrup and corn starch and soybean oil. the food system is more complex than you're saying. by commie@lemmy.dbzer0.com

Removed Comment Oh so you came in to argue an incorrect point on fabrics being attainable at any price point, specifically to privilege shame? And your definition of privileged is anyone that can buy clothes, regardless of frugality, and asserting that buying lo get lasting clothes is a good thing (which I did) just re-emphasizes how overtly privileged I am? Cool, so you're just an asshole. Got it. by Lemonparty@lemm.ee

Removed Comment >I interpreted it as a lack of understanding. You applied a mathematical definition to a common lingual term, which was used in the exact same fashion in the response as your original use. That's using *semantics*, as you're arguing about the lingual definition as it applies to a phrase. The pedantic part is you using a semantic argument just to be a cunty little shit head on the internet. by Lemonparty@lemm.ee

Removed Comment You obviously have issues with food. Every comment you make refers to "meat treats," something that no one except you has ever said in reference to human food. I suppose it's a deep seated psychological harm inflicted by your family when they forced you to eat dinner that one time. I hope you get the help you need, but unfortunately you will not find it here. Adeiu. by PowerCrazy@lemmy.ml

Removed Comment Yes as a child my mean ol' parents forced me to eat foods that I didn't want to. So now it is my lifelong journey to ban broccoli. Stop speaking for me. Just say you want to reduce the population of the planet to <100million because that will be the best way to reduce human's impact on the environment. Just make sure to start with yourself. In the mean time, government action to stop fossil fuels are the only priority that matters. The rest is culture war shit. by PowerCrazy@lemmy.ml
