Weird, understanding how people work. Do you want to accomplish something or just masturbate?

I am doing just as you suggest - a boycott is the definition of inaction.

Yes, that's why I'm encouraging people to actively organize. Posting some image macro in support of boycotting on social media isn't organizing, that's slacktivism. Join a union.

It's a stupid question for obvious reasons Go on over to an Antifa instance and ask 'em what their plans are They'll definitely tell you everything What a dumbass A hypocritical dumbass at that. I'm trying to motivate people to do more than just symbolic gestures, people need to take action in the face of a fascist criminal regime whose goal is to overthrow the government and instead you're wasting your time berating someone who actual does take action? And you want me to broadcast what those plans are? Dumbass

Your efforts will be ignored. Waste your time still under the delusion that you live in a democracy, or do what needs to be done.

People can larp resistance all they want if it makes them feel better Just know it's not going to bring about any meaningful results Don't ask questions if you're not ready to get your hands dirty

The majority of the country that elected this asshole is rural Often the only store they have is a Walmart The *every little bit* approach won't do jack shit in the face of fascism Take the gloves off

Maybe he destroyed the windows so molotov cocktails could be thrown inside instead of against the window. Maybe the same thing should be done when setting cars on fire. Maybe I'm using this maybe format to share information that may be illegal to share.

> This is why we donβt gatekeep resistance. Maybe you don't, but I do. I'd prefer someone do something slightly effective vs something that has _NO EFFECT_. If your point is, well, let's let people do something that doesn't help because it might turn into them doing something effective one day, I think you might be overly optimistic. Once people get that tiny dopamine hit from a one-day boycott, or post about it on Facebook how they are boycotting the gas station for one day, they get a bit of recognition and 99% will stop right there. Get rid of ineffective one-day boycotts and replace them with some direct action that actually does something. The alternative to ineffective boycotts doesn't have to be NOTHING! There's plenty people can do to resist that's actually impactful.

Get rekt, keyboard warrior. I don't have the time, inclination, or crayons to explain to you that taking "a day off" from buying shit isn't going to do shit about a goddamned thing. You can't post your way out of fucking fascism.

It never has and never will. It's feel-good posting that has absolutely no chance of changing the needle one iota. The only thing that could possibly get attention is a nationwide general strike. But that's not gonna happen because people are too wage-slaved and distracted by shiny, noisy _shit_.

Cancel Prime, delete Twitter and Meta would have 100000000x more impact than this inane bullshit. "Don't buy anything for one single day, but make sure to stock up beforehand!" because companies totally give a single fuck about daily numbers, and not the monthly trends that literally won't be affected at all π

These protests aren't actually going to do a damn thing. The only course of action is obvious but I'm not going to say what it is because I don't want to get banned.

Yes, but the actions should be something most people can DO. When you live paycheck to paycheck and only have weekends free, your choices are limited and you can't participate in this at all. If you try to make an impact while literally excluding a large portion of your base, you're fucking up.

No, I'm saying that same effort could be directed towards things that will actually do something. A tsunami is coming. Do you tell everyone to start filling sandbags at the beach or do you tell them to get to higher ground? It's both effort, right? But one will get people killed and one might save lifes. I'm not gatekeeping shit. I'm pointing out that this has been done numerous times and does jack shit. If you want to do something, *then actually do something*. Don't think that this is actually something and pat yourself on the back.
