Managarr is a terminal-based application for managing all your Servarr instances from one place. It provides a user-friendly interface to interact with your media libraries, making it easier to manage your downloads, monitor your artists and albums, and perform various actions directly from the terminal.
Heavily inspired from the TRON Legacy movie effects (especially the Board Room sequence), the eDEX-UI project was originally meant to be “DEX-UI with less « art » and more « distributable software »”.
I trained a TruncatedSVC model on almost all Github stars to create embeddings for all repositories with more than 150 stars. I figured that could be useful so I fed the data to a Qdrant vector store and built an extension on top of it.
One frustrating trend I’ve noticed in many open-source projects is maintainers closing issues as quickly as possible—often in a dismissive and even confrontational manner. It sometimes feels like a game, where the goal is to shut down as many issues as possible rather than foster meaningful discussion.
I was recently furloughed from work, so in between job applications, I decided to polish off Sonarr support in my Managarr TUI. Thus, I'm very proud to announce the beta release of Managarr with Sonarr support!

Focus in this release has been on improving and refactoring frontend code, adding UI features such as column and row
hiding and locking through Visibility and Position meta classes. Other UI related features, such as supporting the
height and width of individual cells have also been implemented, allowing for column and row span functionality.
Hadn't seen this here yet, a co-worker of mine sent it my way so I'm just spreading the word. Looks interesting, to say the least! Anyone tried this out or had any other experience with it yet?
The theme of this release is about stabilizing core APIs, cleaning them up, improving type safety and other related
refactorings where needed. These changes make it clearer what types are accepted and removes some approaches that
previously could be confusing to the API user, such as with contains(..) and invoke(..).
