It’s honestly kinda crazy how long some games spend in development. The Final Fantasy 7 Remake trilogy is a perfect example of something that should’ve been quick but ended up being so bloated and took forever to make.
Today’s game is some more Alan Wake II. I was playing with lighting and portraits to practice some stuff we had gone over in my Photography class. I got this one of him illuminated by the projector light I really liked.
Ive been part of the retro game corps (a silly little discord community) for a couple of years. Talking about Miyoo Mini Plus, other retro consoles, etc…etc… It was fun, but with the whole Discord age verification thing and Palantir…im out.
Today’s game is Animal Crossing New Horizons. My friends have been begging me to get a copy so I can play multiplayer with them. I finally caved. I refuse to spend anywhere near full price though for this game so I did some looking around and managed to find it going for a much more reasonable ~40$ USD in my area. Which is a great deal for me. Now I don’t have to borrow my friend’s digital copy and he can join me.
Anybody have any games they really liked on a first play through and then fell out of love with it later on? I’m going through it right now with the city builder game Workers and Resources. I’ve got 26 hours in it on Steam. Most of those hours came years ago when I first tried the game. I had a good grasp of it then naturally hopped off it when something else caught my eye. Every time I try it now I just can’t get past how janky it is. It truly is Eurojank the city builder game.
Today’s game is Morrowind. I wanted to try mixing things up a little and had gotten this last december so i decided to dick around for a bit in it. I ended up being a little surprised by how much i enjoyed all the reading it needs. I mean, don’t get me wrong. It’s incredibly tedious and annoying sometimes, but it comes with satisfaction upon finding your way around with the journal and having to navigate in an almost realistic manner.
Hello guys, I wanted to announced that I finally released my demo for The Milgram Experiment. One of the inspirations of the game is the book Obedience to Authority by the same scientist. Other big inspirations are Papers, Please; Pools; Sublimnal and the show Severance.
Today’s game is some more Alan Wake II. I already made it through the hotel today. I always forget how fast this game goes by. It definitely is a good length, but damn does it leave me wanting more.
I had previously stopped playing this game as, simply put, my level of English wasn’t high enough to understand the story and the language, but now that I’ve resumed playing this game and gotten past A Realm Reborn… I’m having so much fun ✨
Today’s game is Project Zomboid. I got me and some friends back on the Build 42 Multiplayer and we had some fun. We ended up chilling this session, and I figured out how to get on the roof of the house I made my home and just chilled. It was nice.
I’m a developer working on a game similar to Geoguessr (street view location guessing game), but using images sourced from Wikimedia. The aim is to make it more fun by removing the meta clues in Geoguessr that people use to find locations, for example some players have memorized what street view cars or picture quality was used in certain places. For me, this ruins the fun of the game as it becomes less about knowledge of geography and more about memorizing useless information. So that’s why I made Where.
Today’s game is some more Alan Wake II. Now that I’ve had proper time I’ve noticed a few interesting details I wanted to point out. Like for example, Alan when he uses the health kit will actually pull a bandage out of the health pack. Which I think is a really cool detail.
