Although [Thomas] really likes the Raspberry Pi Pico 2 and the RP2350 MCU, he absolutely, totally, really doesn’t like the micro-USB connector on it. Hence he jumped on the opportunity to source a Pico 2 clone board with the same MCU but with a USB-C connector from AliExpress. Specifically I’m using the OrangePi Zero 2W and the Banana Pi M4 Zero (both are Pi Zero form factor), but I figure if it works in a Raspberry Pi it should work in these. Wondering if they’re worth the cost, if they work at all, and/or if it’s just asking for trouble.

I’ve found that my Pi 400’s built in web browser is almost unusable with bloaty script-heavy sites, so I’m wondering if the Pi 5 or 500+ is any better. There would be an NVMe SSD present if that helps.

I just got my second RPi5, put LibreElec on it via microSD, and for some reason the boot menu appears and goes through it’s thing first before booting LibreElec. Is there a reason it doesn’t boot straight into LibreElec? How can I have it skip the boot menu screen?
The built-in keyboard on my Pi 500 is acting up and, while I found a way online to fix it that looks simple enough, it’ll be a few days before I have a chance to do it. In the meantime I’ve got another keyboard plugged into a USB port as a substitute.

I'm running octopi on an rpi zero 2 w it had been working flawlessly for weeks until I unplugged it to move the printer. Now it won't connect to Wi-Fi sometimes. If I connect a monitor it will connect. If I connect the monitor after booting it has no network IP address just the 127... Local address. I've gotten it to connect one time without a monitor but it was in the wrong location. I thought it might be proximity related, and it still could be, but that doesn't explain why it doesn't always connect near my Wi-Fi access point where it was working before. I've tried multiple other power supplies and with the printer both turned on and disconnected.
I guess using LVM on an old raspberry pi 3B+ was not the smartest idea :/ ! As expected the pi 3b+ can handle qbittorrent and piHole without to much load average...
I have a pile of hard drives sitting around that need to be securely wiped. Does anyone know of something similar to DBAN or ShredOS for ARM that I can use to turn a Pi into a disk wipe station? It doesn't need to be a dedicated OS, just a package that I can run on top of armbian or whatever.
