Structural Non-Closure: A Minimal Modal Core

Abstract

This paper presents a minimal modal formulation of structural non-closure as a necessary condition of being. Within an S4 modal framework, it is shown that existence entails the persistent availability of differential possibility. From a single axiom, the impossibility of permanent closure is derived. Non-closure is established not as a contingent feature of reality, but as a structural precondition of existence.
