Abstract
The classical problems on the possibility, the origin and the nature of knowledge aren’t present in the works of Vilém Flusser; even those concerning science and technics were submitted to a practical, non-theoretical, approach. The author of A Dúvida, after a temporary attraction for the integrative capacities of the Lusitanian culture, in the Brazilian version, returned to the same analytic, critic and separative attitude from the beginning of its spiritual life. His progressive pragmatic concern appeared as a scandal for Modernity, as its reception clearly shows.
