This paper argues that the beginning of the universe does not settle the beginning of reality. A first boundary in cosmic time may mark the earliest point in our universe, or the earliest point we can measure within it, without thereby proving that reality as such begins there. The paper distinguishes these claims and argues that they are too often collapsed. It then contends that if our universe has a real beginning, some further order must exist relative to which that (...) beginning is real. That is enough to block the easy inference from cosmic beginning to metaphysical ultimacy. The paper further argues that absolute nothing cannot ground cosmogenesis, because it contains no structure within which the difference between not-this-universe and this-universe could be real. Two live metaphysical options remain: infinite regress of containing orders, or a beginningless deeper substrate. It proposes that the Big Bang’s “extremely hot” beginning may be structurally analogous to a phenomenon already familiar on the microscopic scale: sonoluminescence (SL), the emission of light from a collapsing bubble. Through this analogy, cosmogenesis is reframed not as (...) “something from nothing,” but as a transformative rhythm, compression, instability, illumination, and expansion. If we were observers inside such a bubble, the flash would define the beginning of measurable time; everything before the spark would be inaccessible, not absent. LRT distinguishes a base layer of generative potential, a quantum layer of structured possibility, and a macro layer of realised actuality, linked by a principle of coherence-by-fit that governs how actualisations must remain consistent with the evolving macro record. In order to show the relevance of the Presocratic thinkers, certain achievements are sometimes presented as anticipations of some discoveries made by contemporary science. Anaxagoras’ explanation for the origin of the world in particular has been compared to the Big Bang theory by some scholars. The purpose of this article is to show why this theory is very different from Anaxagoras’ view of the origin of the world. For Anaxagoras, the world does not start from a tiny expanding particle. Rather, (...) already before the beginning of the cosmos, there is a totality filled by a primordial mixture. The world emerges in it as a kind of dilating bubble. The cosmos grows by means of a whirl which absorbs the exterior mixture, deconstructing it to give origin to the different things that we know. This vortex is a unique explanation for multiple phenomena, not only helping to understand the origin of the world but also the present cosmos, which is in continuous expansion, since cosmogenesis has not been interrupted. There are many bodies, neurons, interacting in a brain. For bodies and interactions to produce consciousness might depend on specific matter and matter interactions, such as specifically those of the neural grey matter and voltages of the brain, or abstract representations and information patterns, such as just the neural firing patterns or those that can be simulated on GPUs. My flipbook thought experiment, elaborated on later in this work, reduces the latter possibility to absurdity. We're able to feel complex emotional (...) experiences at the same time, and observe many concurrent phenomena, including, for example, the visual image before our eyes. This singular observation might be an illusion, or might be a literal singularization of phenomena into a single observer. My physics explanation for how this singularization might happen, elaborated on later in this work, is evidenced by a measured phenomenon in standard physics. Thus, the best explanation for consciousness remaining will be specific physical matter and modes of interactions (via biological neurons and reactions) and singularization (via my hypothesized physics theory, lacking any other). Then one more point is made about how assuming consciousness as a fundamental property of the universe leads to a new answer to the mystery of cosmogenesis. That answer is specified. This article proposes the double perspective of a cosmogenesis and a cosmic experimentation as the two directions that a Deleuzian cosmology could take following Difference and Repetition. In order to do so, we take the concept of intensity (intensive quantity) not only as the main guiding thread of our inquiry but also as the axis of comprehension of a dynamic conception of space and time (the so called theory of spatio-temporal dynamisms). Under such conditions, we will analyze how a (...) process of genesis discovers the emergence of the cosmos, first of all, in the creation of multiple lines of differenciation based on the complication of its various spatio-temporal modalities. Afterwards, a cosmic experimentation will describe how an individual experience (a life, a sensibility) may provide a second perspective by establishing a clear-confused explication of such genetic spatio-temporal modalities. In this way, made explicit between two registers, the notion of cosmos will finally appear as a "phantastical" notion insofar as equivalent to the reciprocal relationship woven between a genetic process of transformation and an empirical process of development.
