Abstract

This paper fixes prediction within a non-modal structural framework. Prediction is not treated as inference, estimation, or extrapolation. It is fixed as configuration fixation without causality, temporality, or subject-dependent interpretation. Standard assumptions involving temporal ordering, causal dependency, and statistical inference are not introduced. Prediction is fixed without these assumptions. The paper does not explain prediction. It fixes the conditions under which prediction is treated, thereby calling into question its temporal and causal basis.
