Hello, everyone! I will be hosting a Madness Combat meetup and cosplay photoshoot at Anime Central (ACEN) 2026!

If you are not familiar with ACEN It is the largest anime convention in Chicago and the midwest. It is held yearly at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center. You can apply to have official meetups and photoshoots with their dedicated timeslot and location on the convention schedule, but I decided to host my own right outside the convention center so anyone could attend without having to purchase a con badge!

Anyone is welcome to attend the meetup! There will be a cosplay photoshoot, so cosplay is highly encouraged, but of course you can attend the meetup if you aren't cosplaying. I will also hand out some goodies for anyone that attends. As mentioned, It is possible to attend this meetup without purchasing a badge for ACEN, but you will not have access to the convention venue.

Regarding the meetup location and parking; It is held outside of the Hyatt Regency O'Hare Chicago near the east exit. This location is usually where the food trucks are located during the con. You can access this area via sidewalk outside the con center, or walking through the Hyatt hotel lobby. In the flyer I have added a QR code that has a (poorly) made map with directions. As for parking, there are a few parking garages around, but will most likely be full.
