Coaching Education

Regions 7 and 8 hosted NorCal's first-ever Regional Symposia earlier this winter, with over 200 coaches attending.

NorCal's new series of coaching education clinics focuses on developing touch alongside motor skills at a young age.

This program will provide both practical and theoretical content tailored to young players aged 8–16.

The course will be led by Ritchie Wilson, Head of Coach Education and Development at the Scottish FA and former Men’s U21 National Team Assistant Coach.

Free coach education workshops on optimizing player performance & managing workload. November 10th, 12th & 13th

Based on feedback received, this years course will focus on the U10-U14 stage.  It will provide theoretical and practical examples of “best practices “ successfully implemented in Spanish youth academies—no prerequisite requirements to register.

The final day of NorCal's Summer Coaching Symposium featured lessons from former USWNT coach Twila Kilgore, U19 Hoffenheim manager Tobias Nubbemeyer, and AC Milan Youth Director Vincenzo Vergine.
