Decklist of the week

Circut Breaker: ImPro(peller is a busted card)visation

Identity

Description by the author: Minstrel 459

This all still feels unbelievable, but after a good nights sleep less like a dream. Over last year I felt like I was getting better at the game, even if my play was still wanting in some matches, decisions and lines I was taking. Though clearly I couldn't convert that into a 1st place finish. Last night it was the first time (though still not without a stumble) when I felt in the zone through the entire tournament. Neither of the decks I've played I would consider the best ones for the tournament, but Magda is the runner which style jives best with me and which I can pilot best, and Ob just clicked right (I'm going to send you off to the ScrOb write up again).

Netrunner is an amazing game that let me meet more people than I could count, most of which I am honoured to consider close friends. Watching the community grow, locally, nationally and world wide feels like a dream come true. In spite of what is happening around us, this game and community made 2025 feel like an amazing year and I hope that it will continue to strive for years to come.

Cards

Onto the deck itself. My notes from testing are available here so let's focus on making it more readable here.

Asset tech (and the reason this deck could contend with AuCo, OB and Epiphany): - Azimat - 2MU is a real cost, but 2c is 2c - Hannah - while False Lead is gone and Oppo feels like it's on all time low, playing with a 6* click runner is still busted - Solidarity Bade - Last minute inclusion, is a hardware we can install with Magda and becomes a Lilypad replacement in matchups where dropping 4c early on an install can be a problem - Knickknack - This is not a KK deck, you should use spec works first as they let you keep up the tempo, but in the matchups where you won't need to use Muse/Simulchip to recur breakers it turns them into money and cards.

Breakers: - Pelangi - not a real breaker, but a card that makes this god forsaken breaker suit become truly abusive. Running against AuCo or OB? Propeller and Pelangi is all you need. RH? Euler + Pelangi makes them regret rezzing that Vampy + Empiricist/Boto/Vampy on the remote. LEO? Yes I would like to break M.I.C. and Bran for 6 credits. - Propeller - the best fracter in standard and it's not close, if I wasn't a coward I might run this deck with just 3xPropeller. - Euler - In the world where breaking ice first time is the most important (and often the only time) this card is messed up. Very good simulchip target in specific matchups too. - Revolver - best Shaper* killer, though against AuCo Propeller + Pelangi is your go to solution. Still amazing at disarming Winchesters, Hammers, Drafters, Snakes and so on

Draw: - Nuka, Ritual, Spec Work - Magda rewards playing a lot of burst draw to make early set up faster and more consistent. This deck doesn't play SMC and by design is cut to 45 to be able to find it's tools consistently, and in spite of that I could see 3rd Ritual and 3rd Nuka becoming cards 46, 47.

Illumination - mvp of many games and at the same time a card you won't miss if you don't draw it. Turn 1 of nuka + illum felt broken every time R&D was left open.

Hush - wrong tool for the weekend, it helped with Funhouse against epiphany, I would swap it for a 3rd pinhole in a heartbeat.

Cupellation - the good multi access tool in the deck and another card that helps to deal with assets (be it big trash costs or Hostile Architecture text), don't be afraid to spec work it if it's taking up MU or you need money/cards early.

Cataloguer - disappointing, but mandatory piece of R&D multiaccess, you will wiff on it more than you would like. But against 6-7 agenda decks you have to have a way to at least attempt fishing something out of R&D. Alternatives are either inf and MU heavy (Stargate), inf and slots heavy (Girls package with Eru/Pretty/Drones) or don't work with the current deck configuration (Khusyuk)
