Anne Mavity

Executive Director

Anne Mavity has served as MHP’s Executive Director since 2017. She brings decades of experience in affordable housing, capacity building, and community development. Throughout her career, she has helped communities and organizations formulate policy solutions to some of the most complex housing and community development challenges. Anne led housing development and organizing at Beacon Interfaith Housing Collaborative, resulting in new supportive housing for families and youth. She served for 11 years as a City Council member in St. Louis Park, and during that time also served as Chair of Metro Cities and on the board of the League of Minnesota Cities.  Anne has a double BA degree in Government and Slavic Languages from Lawrence University, and a master’s in public policy from Georgetown University. She is currently the First Vice-Chair of the National Low Income Housing Coalition’s Board of Directors.
