Minnesota Housing Partnership (“MHP”) understands your concerns about information privacy and is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. We will not collect any personally identifiable information during your visit to this website unless you voluntarily submit this information.
Your Consent
By using our website, you consent to our use of information that is collected or submitted as described in this online privacy policy. We may change or add to this privacy policy, so we encourage you to review it periodically.
Use of Information that You Provide
MHP may collect personally identifiable information (name, address, telephone/mobile, email, etc.) gathered from applications, event registrations, donations, and other sources, to provide you with information from MHP. MHP also collects organizational information from applications, event registrations, donations, and other sources for research and technical assistance.
MHP will never share your email or phone/mobile information with other organizations and will not provide your name to any other organization for the purposes of soliciting you for financial contributions, other sales, or for email harassment. We use this information to contact individuals via email, SMS and mail with additional resources that might be of interest, including upcoming events and trainings, new publications, or other resources. You may choose at any time not to provide personally identifiable information, although this may restrict our ability to provide requested services or information.
Financial Information
MHP will protect any personal financial information that you share with us. If you make a purchase or donation on this site, MHP submits this information directly to a secure credit card processor. It will not be used for marketing purposes and is never shared with third parties, nor is it stored in our database. MHP currently uses Secure Socket Layering (SSL) to encrypt sensitive information, such as financial information, while that data travels over the Internet. If you wish you may opt out of these exchanges by one of the methods listed below under “Request for Removal.”
Cookies
Many websites, including this one, use cookies – pieces of numeric data stored on your computer so that we can identify when you return to our website. MHP can only “read” cookies that are placed on your computer from our own website. The usage of cookies is not linked to any personally identifiable information. You can select to disable cookies by changing your browser settings. If you choose to disable cookies in your browser, you may not be able to access portions of our website content.
Photographs
MHP takes photographs during public events, solicits photographs from our beneficiaries of their work, and occasionally selects quality photos for distribution via this website, social media, or other means. Photos are taken in public settings during public events. If you are included in a photograph and would prefer that it not be distributed, please contact MHP at info@mhponline.org and let us know what photo and where you saw it. We will do our best to remove it from circulation.
