Thank you for joining the nationwide movement to empower individuals, organizations, and communities to have more good days, together.

Join us throughout May as communities across our region mark Mental Health Awareness Month with local mayoral proclamations. These events bring together leaders, partners, and residents to recognize the importance of mental health and encourage hope, connection, and community support.

Fountain County rises for mental health! Proclamation at 12:00 PM

Celebrate with the community in Veedersburg, IN at the Friends of the Veedersburg Public Library Fest & Mental Month Kick-Off for a day filled with exciting activites.

Be sure to attend the special proclamation at 12:00PM, reaffirming Fountain County's dedication to supporting mental health and breaking the stigma.

Carroll and White County unite for mental health!

Join us on May 1 at White County United Way for a combined Carroll/White Counties event featuring an 10:45 AM Mental Health Awareness Month Mayoral Proclamation with Mayor Yates and Mayor Sims, followed by a Youth Worker Cafe on Developmental Assets and youth mental wellness.

The event kicks off at 10:00 AM with food and refreshments.  10:45 AM Proclamation and 11:00 AM Presentation. This event is free to attend. Sponsored by Indiana Youth Institute

Join us on May 1 at 12:15 PM for the Tippecanoe County Mayoral Proclamation for Mental Health Awareness Month at the Marquis de Lafayette Fountain, 4th and Main Street, outside the Tippecanoe County Courthouse. This special event is free and open to the public. Registration is encouraged, but not required.

Mayoral Proclamation- Cass County

We’re proud to collaborate with the Zero Suicide Task Force during their annual Stomp Out the Stigma 5K at Logansport Hospital. As part of the event, a special Mayoral Proclamation will be read by Deputy Mayor Pomasl at the starting line at 8:00 AM, recognizing Mental Health Awareness Month and the importance of coming together to raise awareness, encourage hope, and stomp out stigma in our community.

Mayoral Proclamation in Tipton County

Join us on May 8 at the Tipton County Foundation for a powerful morning of connection, data, and action. The day opens with a 9:00 AM Mental Health Awareness Month Mayoral Proclamation, followed by State of the Child – Tipton County, and continues with a free QPR training over lunch where attendees will learn how to recognize warning signs of suicide, offer support, and connect youth to care. Lunch will be provided.
