About this channel

My name is Peter, and I’m a passionate bench-sitter. I love roaming around the Eifel, sitting on benches, and taking in the scenery. When I’m doing that, I don’t even notice how time flies. The Eifel is a predominantly rural region with plenty of forests in western Germany, nestled between the Rhine Valley and the Ardennes, and it’s my home. I know it quite well, but I still keep discovering new things I haven’t seen before. Here, I’ll introduce a few of these places and things, along with book reviews of books about the Eifel and the neighboring Rhine Valley, and a few recipes featuring dishes from the region. And while we are at it: Check my website peter.malborn.com.
