Safer Grassroots Sport, a 2-year project co-funded by the European Commission and implemented between January 2024 and December 2025, aims to support grassroots sport organisations in establishing policies and implementing action-oriented tools and measures to safeguard their communities. |

|
The two-day meeting, hosted by SportIEQ in Ghent, focused on project updates and approached the state of the art for project tools, both designed to support grassroots sport organisations enhancing their safeguarding policies and practices. On day 1, partners had the opportunity to test and provide comprehensive feedback to improve these tools and during day 2, the consortium worked on the national workshop planning and coordination. Productive discussions took place, notably regarding methodology and further strategies for delivering high quality workshops in Albania, Bulgaria, Portugal, and Slovenia. |
