In recent days, social media was abuzz with concerns about Vrindavan saint Premanand Maharaj’s health. The speculation began after a video surfaced showing him with a swollen and reddened face, causing alarm among devotees.

Shri Hit Radha Keli Kunj Parikar Shridham Vrindavan issued a formal statement clarifying that Premanand Maharaj is doing well and continuing his daily routine. However, his customary early morning walk has been postponed indefinitely. The administration urged people not to spread rumours about the saint’s health.

Addressing reports personally, Maharaj reportedly told YouTuber Elvish Yadav:
"Dono kidney fail hai, theek kya hona hai ab to jaana hai. Ab theek hone ko kuch nahi bacha."

According to ABP Live, he is undergoing full-day dialysis. While many devotees have offered to donate kidneys, Maharaj has declined, not wanting to cause pain to others.

Who is Premanand Maharaj?
Born Anirudh Kumar Pandey in Sarsaul Block, Kanpur, Premanand Maharaj left home at 13, following in his grandfather’s footsteps as a sanyasi. Initiated into the Radhavallabhi Sampradaya after receiving the ‘Sharanagati Mantra,’ he has grown into one of the most followed spiritual leaders worldwide.

Prominent personalities like Virat Kohli, Anushka Sharma, Great Khali, Hema Malini, and Mohan Bhagwat have visited him at his Vrindavan ashram.

Devotees continue to pray for his well-being while the saint remains under medical care and stable.

In a video lasting about 1 minute 20 seconds, Sufiyan Allahabadi stands on the holy soil of Madina with both hands raised and says, “O Allah, please make India’s great saint Premanand Maharaj healthy soon, so that he can continue guiding his devotees.” The backdrop clearly shows the sacred mosque, indicating that the prayer comes from Islam’s holiest site. Sufiyan’s gesture is seen as transcending religious boundaries and sending a message that humanity is the greatest faith.

In the video, Sufiyan explains, “I have come from Prayagraj, the land of Ganga-Yamuna sangam.” He shows a photo of Sant Premanand Maharaj on his phone while continuing, “Sant Premanand Maharaj is a very good person. We have come to know that he is unwell. We are in Khizra now. From here, we pray that Allah grants him health and wellness. We are from India and we also admire him. He is a true and good human being.”
