A low-data website is low maintenance, low cost, loads fast, looks good on most devices, and is easy to update; plus, you own and control your data.

VALUE After this bootcamp you’ll be able to build, launch and maintain low-data websites for you, or your clients.

• deploy your first ‘hello, world.’ webpage
• introduction to the command-line interface
• get started with homebrew; your installation tool
• get started with codeberg.org; your remote repository
• introduction to Codeberg Pages; your deployment tool
• get started with git; your version control tool
• introduction to Static Site Generator (SSG)
• choose your website: blog, single webpage, multiple pages, etc.
• get started with a SSG; set up your first website
• deploy your first website via Codeberg Pages

Optional:

• customize your website with CSS
• introduction to the Domain Name System
• set up your custom domain name
